Concurso ‘a door to paradise’

designboom and COCIF present an international design competition.
the subject of the competition is
‘a door to paradise’
we are looking for a timeless HOME INTERIOR door design, which takes
into account formal and technological innovation, its ease of use,
originality and practicality for manufacturing. a broad variety of materials
might be used: wood, metal, glass, plastics,...
COCIF is one of the leading european door manufacturers,
and is looking for new proposal for production.
the designers of 5 winning entries will be granted with cash prize awards
- first prize Euro 5000
- the jury will also award 4 honorable mentions / Euro 1000 each
winning entries and a selection of the works sent in will be shown
at the next milan design week, april 13 - 18, 2005.
and as always… designboom will publish an exhaustive results report.
works can be submitted through january 25 2005.
there is a maximum enrollment, registration may close prior to that deadline.
